The hub, Deloitte’s first center for exporting digital services from Egypt, aims to serve clients across Europe and the Middle East with AI, data analytics, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and ERP systems solutions. Deloitte plans to expand the hub’s workforce to 5,000 employees as it grows, boosting Egypt’s digital footprint.
Hani Girgis, head of the Deloitte Innovation Hub, emphasized the hub’s impact on local talent and society while delivering value for international clients. Talaat noted Egypt’s appeal as an IT hub, citing a skilled youth demographic and a surge in digital exports, which reached $6.2 billion in 2023—a 26% increase over 2022.
