Egypt led gaming revenue with $368 million, followed by Nigeria at $300 million and South Africa at $278 million. Eritrea and Niger saw the fastest growth, while Equatorial Guinea and Seychelles were the slowest.
The industry’s expansion is driven by increasing smartphone adoption, falling data costs, and improved internet infrastructure. Popular titles include Candy Crush, Roblox, Valorant, and Call of Duty: Mobile.
