The UNDP and Ethiopia’s Ministry of Industry have announced the launch of the Timbuktoo ManuTech Hub in Addis Ababa, aiming to support African startups in the manufacturing sector.
Scheduled to open in early 2025, the hub will provide funding, mentorship, and technical resources to startups from across the continent.
Selected startups will join a three-month hybrid accelerator program, receiving training, mentorship, access to technology, and seed grants to develop solutions tailored to Africa’s manufacturing needs. Applications, open until December 25, 2024, are being accepted on the UNDP website.
