The company engages in identity management activities, including prometrics and biometrics identification with applications in the financial, healthcare, corporate, and other public fields; the sale and maintenance of Dermalog machines, fingerprint scanners, BVN machines, and data card products; and the design, print, and personalization of various types of cards products. It also provides payments systems that involve building, developing, and maintenance of ICT infrastructures; e-payment infrastructure support to other e-payment platforms; Smart and Chip Card, a technology for card personalization, identity card enrolment logistic, and access control. In addition, the company offers Argone, a retail service provider for the sale of phones, laptops, and accessories; PenCentral, a platform for remitting pensions; PelPay payment platform; Naira.com, which provides payment solutions; HR payroll solutions; VOTA, an e-voting platform; I’m Alive digital facial recognition service; and Kegow, a mobile money solution. The company was formerly known as Chams Plc and changed its name to Chams Holding Company Plc in May 2022. Chams Holding Company Plc was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
