Foras.AI Backs Arabic AI Education Platform Efham.ai

Daba Finance/Foras.AI Backs Arabic AI Education Platform Efham.ai
STARTUP VENTURE CAPITALJune 8, 2026 at 11:16 AM UTC

TLDR

  • Foras.AI invested in Efham.ai, an Arabic-language AI education platform by Egypt-based NixAI to capitalize on the rising demand for AI skills in the Middle East and North Africa.
  • Efham.ai aims to establish the first Arabic AI learning community, offering over 100 training lessons by Q3 2026 targeted at learners in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, and other Arabic-speaking markets.
  • The investment highlights the emphasis on localizing technical education for Arabic users amid the increasing adoption of AI tools in work, business, and education.

Foras.AI invested in Efham.ai, an Arabic-language AI education platform developed by Egypt-based NixAI, as demand grows for artificial intelligence skills across the Middle East and North Africa.

The size of the investment was not disclosed. Efham.ai said the funding will support its plan to build what it describes as the first Arabic community focused on learning artificial intelligence in Arabic.

The platform plans to launch more than 100 AI training lessons by the end of the third quarter of 2026. It is targeting learners in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan and other Arabic-speaking markets.

Efham.ai teaches AI concepts in Arabic and uses Egyptian colloquial Arabic to make technical topics easier to understand. The platform focuses on practical uses of AI, including content creation, product development, entrepreneurship, fundraising and building AI-powered income streams.

The investment reflects growing interest in startups that localise technical education for regional users. Foras.AI said the platform addresses a gap in Arabic AI learning content at a time when individuals, startups and companies are adopting AI tools across work, business and education.

Key Takeaways

Efham.ai’s funding shows that AI education in MENA is becoming a localisation opportunity. Many AI tools are built in English, and much of the training content around them is also produced for English-speaking users. That creates a barrier for Arabic-speaking learners who want to understand AI, use it at work or build businesses around it. Efham.ai is trying to close that gap by teaching in Arabic and using familiar language rather than formal technical explanations. That matters because AI adoption depends not only on access to tools, but also on the ability to understand how to use them. The platform’s focus on practical use cases, such as content, products, startups and fundraising, could appeal to students, creators, founders and small businesses. The challenge will be quality and depth. AI changes fast, so the platform will need to keep lessons current, credible and useful. If it can build a strong Arabic learning community, Efham.ai could become part of the region’s AI skills infrastructure.
