What is Dangote Refinery Revenue in 2026?

Investors evaluating a future IPO naturally want to know how much revenue the underlying business actually generates. For Dangote Petroleum Refinery, the honest answer as of this writing is that comprehensive, audited revenue figures have not been publicly disclosed in a prospectus, because no prospectus has been published yet.

As a privately held company (majority-owned by Dangote Industries, with Nigeria’s state-owned NNPC holding a 20% stake), Dangote Petroleum Refinery has not historically been required to publish the kind of detailed, audited annual financial statements that publicly listed NGX companies must file. That changes once the IPO process advances: an SEC-approved prospectus is required to include audited financial statements covering recent years, which will be the first fully transparent look at the company’s actual revenue, costs, and profitability.

What we do know are operational figures that give a general sense of scale: the refinery reportedly reached its full designed capacity of 650,000 barrels of crude oil processed per day in February 2026, and it’s designed to produce large volumes of petrol, diesel, jet fuel, and other products both for the Nigerian domestic market and for export. Operational capacity, however, is not the same as revenue; actual revenue depends on realized product prices, operating costs, crude input costs, and how much of that capacity is actually utilized month to month, none of which have been officially disclosed in detail.

Be cautious of any specific revenue or profit figures for the refinery circulating online without a clear source, since no audited financials are public yet, any such figures are, at best, estimates or projections, not confirmed company disclosures.

Once Dangote’s prospectus is published, Daba will cover its actual disclosed financials in detail, since that will be the first reliable basis for evaluating the business’s real financial performance rather than capacity-based estimates.
