From banking and telecommunications to energy, agriculture, healthcare, and Shariah-aligned investing, Daba’s latest launch gives investors a simpler way to discover and explore companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange.
LAGOS, NIGERIA — November 2026 — Daba Finance, the digital investment platform connecting global investors to African capital markets, today announced the launch of 24 Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Stock Collections, expanding its thematic investing offering to Africa’s largest economy.
The launch follows Daba’s expansion into the Nigerian stock market through its strategic partnership with Coronation Securities Limited and Coronation Asset Management Limited, announced in September 2026.
With the introduction of NGX Collections, investors can now explore Nigerian listed companies through curated groups organized around industries, company size, investment characteristics, and economic themes, rather than having to research hundreds of individual securities from scratch.
The new offering builds on Daba’s first thematic Stock Collections launched for the BRVM in December 2024, extending a familiar investment discovery experience to a second African stock exchange.
24 Collections. One Simpler Way to Discover Nigerian Stocks.
Nigeria’s stock market is home to companies operating across banking, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, consumer goods, and other sectors of the economy.
For many investors, particularly those investing in Nigerian equities for the first time, knowing where to begin can be challenging.
Should they explore Nigeria’s largest banks? Invest in companies producing everyday consumer goods? Look at telecommunications businesses driving digital connectivity? Or consider smaller listed businesses with different growth and risk characteristics?
Daba’s NGX Collections are designed to make these decisions easier to navigate.
Instead of searching for stocks one company at a time, investors can discover groups of businesses that share common characteristics or provide exposure to a particular segment of Nigeria’s economy.
The 24 Collections span established blue-chip companies, mid-sized businesses, smaller listed companies, industry-specific opportunities, income-oriented securities, and values-based investment themes.

Two Additional Collections for Different Investment Preferences
Beyond sector-based investing, Daba is introducing two Collections built around specific investment characteristics.
23. Islamic Index
The Islamic Index Collection brings together selected Nigerian listed companies from sectors including agriculture, food production, telecommunications, industrials, energy, and non-interest banking.
Companies represented include Okomu Oil Palm, Presco, Aradel Holdings, BUA Foods, Jaiz Bank, MTN Nigeria, and Dangote Cement.
The Collection draws on the NGX Lotus Islamic Index framework and is designed to help investors discover companies identified through Islamic equity screening.
Inclusion does not guarantee continuing Shariah compliance. Business activities, financial ratios, and index constituents may change over time, and investors should independently review current compliance.
24. SWOOTs — Stocks Worth Over One Trillion Naira
The SWOOTs Collection brings together NGX-listed companies with market capitalizations exceeding ₦1 trillion, based on the applicable market data.
It spans major businesses across banking, telecommunications, industrials, consumer goods, energy, and utilities.
Unlike sector-specific Collections, SWOOTs groups companies primarily by market capitalization, allowing investors to discover some of Nigeria’s largest publicly traded businesses in one place.
The Collection’s constituents may change as share prices, market capitalizations, and company listings evolve.
Building on Daba’s First Thematic Stock Collections
The introduction of NGX Collections represents the next stage in a product journey that began in West Africa.
In December 2024, Daba introduced thematic and sector-based Stock Collections on the BRVM, the regional exchange serving eight West African countries.
The feature was designed to simplify stock discovery by grouping companies according to sectors, market themes, and investor preferences.
As highlighted in Daba’s 2024 year-end review, the platform introduced 13 Collections during that year, giving investors additional ways to navigate African equities.
With the addition of 24 NGX Collections, Daba is extending that approach to Nigeria and advancing its goal of making African stock markets easier to understand and access.
From Market Access to Investment Discovery
The new Collections build directly on Daba’s expansion into Nigeria through its partnership with Coronation Securities Limited and Coronation Asset Management Limited.
Announced in September 2026, the arrangement combines Coronation’s Nigerian capital markets expertise and regulated services with Daba’s digital distribution platform, market intelligence, and investor education capabilities.
It enables eligible Daba users to access Nigerian capital-market products through a digital investment experience, subject to applicable jurisdictional and regulatory requirements.
The introduction of NGX Collections adds another layer to that experience.
Beyond providing access to individual listed companies, Daba is making it easier for investors to explore the market, compare businesses within sectors, and identify companies aligned with their interests.
It also allows investors already familiar with Daba’s BRVM Collections to discover Nigerian equities through a similar interface.
The goal is simple: make discovering and understanding African investment opportunities less complicated, without removing the need for informed investment decisions.
Investing Across African Markets Through One Platform
The NGX Collections launch comes as Daba continues to expand its investment ecosystem and international reach.
As outlined in Five Years of Daba, the company has grown from an early-stage investment application into a platform serving more than 300,000 users across Africa and the global diaspora.
The company’s broader mission is to bring together investment access, financial education, market intelligence, and portfolio management in one experience.
By introducing 24 Collections for Nigerian equities alongside its existing BRVM offerings, Daba is taking another step toward making cross-market African investment discovery more accessible.
For users exploring Nigeria’s banking sector, tracking telecommunications growth, researching energy companies, or looking for businesses connected to manufacturing and agriculture, the new Collections provide a more structured starting point.
